The bulk of my work at the time had been a lot of gritty movie poster images for NRA programming and I decided to take the opportunity to do a creative palette cleanse and go with a more classy and upscale feel.

I look at opportunities like this as an excellent way to break the mold and recalibrate your creative process as to not get stuck in one particular style. This is why it’s healthy to maintain a regular amount of freelance work when you work in-house for a corporate entity as well.
